It started with a £1 microphone.

JTR isn’t just a random brand name – it’s my name and my identity. Everything you see today started because I walked into a shop and bought a microphone for one pound. That’s it. That one pound was the start of a deep dive into the world of radio, sound, and broadcasting.

I spent my time building a radio station from the ground up, learning how to hold a mic, how to produce jingles, and how to command a room with just audio. But sound was only half the story. I realized that if I wanted people to truly see what we were building in that radio booth, I needed a camera.

What started as a small lens to show the “behind the scenes” of a radio station turned into a full-blown obsession with filmmaking and live broadcasting.

Today, JTR FILMS is the result of that evolution. We’ve traded that one-pound mic for high-end cinema gear and professional live-streaming rigs, but the mindset is the same: show up, capture the energy, and make it loud. We don’t just film; we tell stories because we’ve been in the booth ourselves.
